This working group supports the contribution of the local cultural and creative economy in cities.

 

The working group is a hub for knowledge exchange on:

-      Creative industries (has been a focus so far)

-      Creative hubs

-      Creative entrepreneurship

-      Cultural education

 

For 2020, the group proposes to specifically focus on:

-      How to encourage creative entrepreneurship and makers?

-      Skills: how to better match skills with local needs? How to retain talents trained locally?

The group welcomes members of the Economic Development Forum, as issues linked to creative entrepreneurship and support to the creative sector are dealt with in local administrations by either culture or economic development departments.
